Sketches

This drawing is based of the aztec god "Huitzilopochti" It was a quick sketch just playing around with the size and design of the character, i had alot of fun re creating him off of my aztec mood board. My only nip pick is that it isn't very robotic like but regardless it has some potential.
This is the Aztec god tezcatlipoca, i was really looking forward to trying this design out because out of all the gods, he was the most robotic, unfortunately it didn't work in my favour as i found it quite awkward to draw, i don't think it helps that i jumped in the deep end trying to give him a  cool pose instead of a side view front view back viewed image. Despite the roughness and awkwardness i enjoyed sketching him and the idea overall.
This was a quick attempt at redrawing Huitizilopochtli to fit to the page but i gave up because of it just taking too long and i wasn't happy with the shape.
This is the aztec god Tlaloc but as you can see it wasn't as imaginitive as the others, again with the "it doesn't look robotic" which is a shame but the idea would have been a robot but with women legs and feet. If i had more time i would have developped this sketch further. But either way just a basic sketch
Ok enough with the aztec stuff, the first idea was to create a steam punk victorian robot. This guy here is called Chimley and quite simply he is a chimly everyday cleaner robot. Despite his happy face, like victorian boys acidents happen and he breaks alot.
His arms and legs are made of the same material as an acordion so he can stretch his arms and legs, his stomach can come out as a shoe stand so he can polish shows accordingly plus his groin is a wheel thats a mop!
The final sketch here was just playing around with potential victorian robots, i used biro and pencil and genuinly enjoyed the quick look of it.
