Tentacle Mood Board

Our weekly assignment starts as to create a creature with "tentacles" being the theme.
If your curious why the straight jacket well the plan is my creature will be in a straight jacket, forced to work in a tirering 9-5 shift... in an office, because everyone knows just how much fun an office can be. Sketches due soon

City lights

Playing around on the skylight didnt make much of a difference on the shadows that or I'm obviously missing somthing out, so heres a sunny day? City looks cool though, though its a shame its a black background a sky would have made it look more believeable...

Heres my troll lighting moddle i wasn't realy sure what i did so i just put down 3 lights and moved them around.

Low poly gun

Our 2nd year begins with a series of tasks to do, the first being to create a low poly modle of a futuristic gun using the following image as reference
I'm quite satified with the result despite being a little bit rusty.

For 2 hours we had to design a space marine from creating a black siloet and adding detail to it, my idea was to have a slender stealth marine to try and mix it up a little, though it's unfished I was happy with what i had created. So for now, here is Nappy Marine!
